Centennial Woods'™ reclaimed wood products are 100% natural and come from softwood species in the Rocky Mountain region. Our planks are aged for an average of 7 to 15 years as slats on the 12' tall snow fences of Wyoming. Since our wood does not require kiln drying and it saves the state of Wyoming thousands of gallons of gasoline by reducing the need to plow the roads of snow, it has a neutral carbon footprint. Our snow fence wood is untreated and has never been exposed to lead paint and contains no harmful VOCs. Our reclaimed wood has high physical integrity and possesses a medium hardness typical of pine species. Moisture content ranges from four to eight percent. Our wood is certified by Bureau Veritas on behalf of FSC® as FSC® 100% Recycled and it contributes toward satisfying Credits MR3, MR4 and MR5 under LEED®.
