Centennial Woods' reclaims wood from the snow fences along the roads of Wyoming. We supply custom milled reclaimed wood for interior and exterior use for design/build firms and contractors whose clients request a distinctive, weathered, barn wood look. Since our wood does not require kiln drying and it saves the state of Wyoming thousands of gallons of gasoline by reducing the need for snow plows, it has a neutral carbon footprint. Our snow fence wood is untreated and has never been exposed to lead paint and contains no harmful VOCs, making it an excellent choice as a material for interiors. Our reclaimed wood has high physical integrity and possesses a medium hardness typical of pine species. Moisture content ranges from four to eight percent. Our wood is certified by Bureau Veritas on behalf of FSC® as FSC® 100% Recycled and it contributes toward satisfying Credits MR3, MR4 and MR5 under LEED®. Centennial Woods maintains a majority of the snow fences in the state of Wyoming. We build them, reclaim the wood, and mill the aged wood into boards for use in construction projects. Our crews work closely with the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the Bureau of Land Management. Due to weather and wildlife protection mandates we are not always able to access the snow fence wood year-round. We ask that you order your reclaimed wood as early as possible in order to avoid any delays in shipment due to circumstances beyond our control. We know you have serious deadlines and we will do everything we can to give you accurate lead times. Give us a call at (307) 760-8037 for more details.
