SUSTAINABLE RECLAIMED WOOD PANELING AND SIDING FOR ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS
Our wood is aged outside for an average of 10 years (above ground) as slats on 12 foot tall Wyoming snow fences. Unlike barn wood or pallet wood, our boards do not require the energy-instensive process of kiln drying; making it a carbon-negative product, unlike almost all other reclaimed wood suppliers. Compared to other types of reclaimed wood, our wood is inherently insect-free, and has never been exposed to lead paint or chemical treatments.
Due to exposure to the elements in the high country the moisture content ranges from only 4-8%. These reclaimed wood boards are FSC® Recycled 100% and contribute toward satisfying Credits MR3, MR4, and MR5 under LEED v4®.
