RECLAIMED WOOD DECOR

Reclaimed wood decor, shelves, and coat racks crafted from recycled snow fences in the plains and mountains of the West. This naturally distressed wood has unique grain patterns and textures created from the fierce wind and weather of Wyoming. The unique patinas of this wood add warm accents to the interiors of modern, traditional, farm house, and rustic spaces. Although this weathered can come from salvaged lumber from old barns, bridges, factories, or warehouse palettes – we recommend using wood from snow fences as it has never been subjected to chemicals and is naturally insect-free.

Custom decor is a popular way to make use of reclaimed wood and give it another life. Unique planks of grey-hued wood with natural markings, nail holes, knot patterns, grain designs, grooves, and imperfections make decor stand out from mass-produced pieces. Utilizing repurposed wood is not a new idea, the original settlers of the Americas recycled and refinished weathered wood for centuries out of necessity. Today, craftsmen use it to create charming and creative pieces of bespoke furniture and décor.

Recycled snow fence wood is not only “green,” but it is certified GREENGUARD Gold for healthy indoor environments and it is the only wood distressed by nature that is carbon-negative. Our one-of-a-kind décor is found in homes, offices, businesses, and rental properties all over the world and can be seen in HGTV’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition throughout season 1.
