Shiplap Boards Made from Reclaimed Wood

This milling process edges the boards so they are rabbeted making the top edge of each board lap over the bottom edges of adjacent boards creating a flush joint. The bottom edge of one board will be recessed which receives the shaped or molded edge of the board next to it. Originally shiplap was used as siding for buildings in cold and extreme environments, today shiplap is an interior feature popularized by TV shows like Fixer Upper. Shiplap can be used for both horizontal and vertical applications and come with our aged "Laramie" finish with a planed, raw finish available. These reclaimed wood boards contribute towards satisfying credits MR3, MR4, and MR5 under LEED®.
