Transform the look of your home with the rustic charm and modern appeal of shiplap siding. At Centennial Woods, we provide high-quality reclaimed wood siding designed to deliver strength, style, and sustainability. Each plank of our ship lap siding is naturally weathered in Wyoming’s extreme weather conditions for 7–10 years, resulting in an authentic texture and low moisture content (4–8%). This ensures superior durability and pest resistance without energy-intensive kiln drying.

PROTECTANT SEALANTS
CENTENNIAL SEAL
Centennial Seal™ protects your wood siding exterior wall against fading and water damage. It won’t change the appearance of your wood surface and lasts 5-10 years depending on exposure levels. It can be pre-applied or shipped in 1- and 5-gallon containers. Use Centennial Cut-Seal™ to seal raw edges after installation or repair.

Flame Stop II is a fire retardant sealant that provides Centennial Woods products with a Class-A Fire Rating. We recommend adding Flame Stop II to any wood that will be installed near fireplaces.
SUSTAINABLE SIDING FROM CENTENNIAL WOODS
Our shiplap offers a clean, timeless look with its naturally weathered surface and overlapping edges, making it a versatile and durable choice for both interior and exterior siding. As a natural product, shiplap balances rustic charm with modern materials, especially when paired with stainless steel accents for a sleek finish, or our weathered wood nominal 1x6 trim for a more cohesive look. Compared to vertical siding options like tongue and groove, which offer custom colors and tight-fitting joints, or other styles like weathered wood nominal and weathered wood consistent, which feature a more rugged, aged appearance, shiplap stands out for its precision milling, consistent dimensions, and wide range of finish colors. It's ideal for those seeking a balance between natural texture and contemporary appeal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is shiplap the only type of siding you sell?
No, we also offer tongue and groove, weather wood consisten S3S, and weather wood nominal 1x6—each with unique finishes and applications.
Does reclaimed wood siding need special maintenance outdoors?
Yes, reclaimed wood siding does require occasional maintenance outdoors, similar to any other home feature, but it's low-maintenance thanks to a pre-applied Centennial Seal UV/moisture protectant. Centennial seal lasts about five years and can be easily reapplied with a paint sprayer.
Does the color of reclaimed siding change over time?
Sometimes, that's part of the charm of our reclaimed wood paneling. Depending on your sun exposure, you can expect gradual color development as the wood weathers. AUV-resistant sealant can slow this process and can be tinted by a professional painter to change the wood coloring.
Can reclaimed shiplap be installed indoors?
We recommend using our reclaimed wood paneling for interior applications. However, we have had customers use our siding for ceiling applications before if they are looking to apply wood to bare/exposed studs or ceiling joists.
How do I clean exterior shiplap siding?
Use a soft brush, broom, or low-pressure rinse. Avoid harsh chemicals and excessive water—dry cleaning preserves the wood’s texture and patina.
Is reclaimed wood siding pest-resistant?
Yes. Wood weathered outdoors for years has low moisture content, making it inhospitable to insects—no chemical treatments required.
Should I treat shiplap siding for fire safety?
Reclaimed wood is naturally drier than green lumber, which means it can benefit from added protection in fire-prone areas. We apply a flame-retardant sealant like Flame Stop II in house prior to shipping the order to ensure safety.
How is reclaimed shiplap siding sourced?
Our reclaimed shiplap siding is sourced from Wyoming snow fences that have aged 7–10 years outdoors, giving the wood a naturally weathered patina and low moisture content; the boards are then brought to our USA-based facility, where they’re precision-milled into shiplap by Centennial Woods’ craftsmen.
