RECLAIMED TONGUE AND GROOVE SIDING

ABOUT OUR SIDING

Upgrade your home's exterior or interior with the classic, tight-fitting design of tongue and groove siding. It works best for exterior applications and outdoor spaces, but the same real wood boards also install indoors for an accent wall, ceiling, or any room where bare studs are visible and you want a distinctly different look for your interior.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SIDING

Low in VOCs

Our reclaimed siding is naturally low in volatile organic compounds, safe for indoor or outdoor use.

GREENGUARD Gold Certified

Meets rigorous low-emission standards, so your boards support cleaner, healthier indoor air quality.

Pest-Free

The low moisture content (4%-8%) keeps the boards dry, making them inhospitable to insects and other pests.

FSC® Recycled

Certified for environmentally responsible sourcing, giving you peace of mind in every siding project.

AESTHETIC EXTERIOR PANELING

Our reclaimed T&G siding features a refined siding pattern that works equally well in horizontal installation or vertical siding projects. The precision-milled tongue on one edge and the groove on the other lock together tightly, providing a weather-resistant seal, a clean profile, and a smooth face for a modern finish.

These siding boards come standard in 11/16-inch thickness, 4 1/2-inch face width, and lengths up to 12 feet, priced by the square foot. They can be ordered with a pre-applied Centennial Seal for UV and moisture protection, and/or Flame Retardant Coating for added fire protection. The design offers easy installation and low maintenance compared to other types of siding, such as lap siding or cedar siding.

PROTECTANT SEALANTS

CENTENNIAL SEAL

Centennial Seal™ protects your wood siding exterior wall against fading and water damage. It won't change the appearance of your wood surface and lasts 5 to 10 years depending on exposure levels. It can be pre-applied or shipped in quart containers. Use Centennial Cut-Seal™ to seal raw edges after installation or repair.

FLAME RETARDANT COATING

Flame Retardant Coating is a fire-retardant sealant that provides Centennial Woods products with additional fire protection. We recommend adding Flame Retardant Coating to any wood that will be installed near fireplaces.

SUSTAINABLE SIDING FROM CENTENNIAL WOODS

Centennial Woods' reclaimed tongue and groove siding offers a blend of rustic authenticity and modern precision. The natural wood surface, weathered by Wyoming's high plains climate, keeps its natural beauty and pairs well with stone, brick, or stainless steel architectural details.

Tongue and Groove creates a flush, flat surface with near-seamless joints between boards. This makes it a strong option for homeowners wanting a refined, continuous finish without giving up the charm of solid wood.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is tongue and groove siding the only type of siding you offer?

No. We also offer shiplap, Weathered Wood Nominal 1x6, and Weathered Wood Consistent S3S. If you are deciding between two popular profiles, our guide on shiplap vs. tongue and groove siding covers how they differ in look, installation, and best use.

Can I use this tongue and groove as interior wall paneling?

Yes. They suit ceiling applications like a cathedral ceiling, and they hold up in a seasonal home, a laundry room, or any interior space where you want the look of real wood. For more interior options, visit our interior paneling page.

How do I install reclaimed T&G siding, and does it need maintenance outdoors?

Boards go up with a standard nail gun. You can blind nail through the tongue for hidden fasteners or face nail for a rustic look. Our guide to installing wood siding walks through the full process step by step. Unlike a nickel gap profile that leaves a small reveal, the tongue and groove joint locks flush, and the same boards work for horizontal or vertical installation. It stays low maintenance outdoors, though we recommend a Centennial Seal UV and moisture coat every five years for the longest life.

How is your reclaimed siding sourced?

We reclaim weathered boards from Wyoming snow fences after 7 to 10 years in service. The wood is then milled, finished, and prepared for siding installation at our U.S.-based facility.

How do I clean exterior tongue and groove siding?

Use a soft brush, broom, and avoid harsh chemicals and excessive water. Dry cleaning preserves the wood’s texture and patina.
